The brand-new DS3 Cabrio, the revamped C3 Picasso and the DS3 Electrum EV concept won’t be the only models Citroen will display at its Paris Motor Show stand. Far from it, the French carmaker is launching a full-on assault on both ends of the market.

On one hand, Citroen wants to be perceived as a bold and creative brand that is moving upmarket by means of its technological advances and unique styling through its DS lineup.

Citroen to Unveil DS3 Electrum Concept at the Paris Motor Show

While the DS3 Cabrio may steal most glances at Citroen’s Paris Auto Show stand, the brand with the double chevron logo will also display another interesting version of its stylish hatchback.

The DS3 Electrum is an all-electric plug-in concept of the firm's chic supermini. Its drivetrain features two 65 kW (87HP) electric motors on the front axle and a Panasonic 17.5 kWh lithium-ion battery that can be charged via a socket hidden under the classic fuel cap.

Citroen to Launch Refreshed C3 Picasso Mini MPV at Paris Auto Show

Since its introduction in 2008 at the Paris Motor Show, Citroen has sold more than 320,000 units of its C3 Picasso. The French carmaker has decided that it’s time to upgrade its mini MPV and has chosen the same venue for its world debut.

Changes in the "new" C3 Picasso are mostly cosmetic to bring it in line with the rest of the carmaker’s range.

French Stock Exchange Removes PSA Peugeot Citroen from CAC 40 Due to Tumbling Share Value

Peugeot shares were first listed in Paris in 1925 and have traded since then. NYSE Euronext’s decision to remove PSA Peugeot Citroen, Europe’s second largest automotive group after VW, from its CAC 40 index and replace it with chemical and plastics maker Solvay SA on September 24, is therefore bound surprise the industry.

New Citroen DS3 Cabrio: All the Official Details Plus 68 Photos and Videos

With the first images of the open-top version of the DS3 B-segment hatchback having already hit the net, Citroen today released official information and a boatload of images of the DS3 Cabrio prior to its live appearance at the Paris Motor Show next month.

The DS3 Cabrio is based on the closed-top model which, in the two years since its launch, has already sold close to 180,000 units. The Cabrio sports the exact same dimensions at 3.95 m long, 1.71 m wide and 1.46 m high.

The obvious difference is that the center section of the roof has given its place to a folding canvas top, though the doors and roof arches remain intact.

First Official Photos of Citroen DS3 Cabriolet Revealed Ahead of Paris Motor Show Debut

Citroen will showcase the new DS3 Cabriolet at the 2012 Paris Motor Show from September 27, but to prepare us, the French carmaker dropped four teaser images today along with the tagline "See you tomorrow", hinting at a full online reveal for Friday.

The images seem to confirm earlier reports that the DS3 Cabriolet will be as much as a convertible as the Fiat 500C is.
